The Japanese firm SoftBank has started developing AI technology that can manage human robots which operate alongside people in factories .

The new development which is part of SoftBank’s total $12.5 billion investment in AI will be unveiled at its annual robotics conference in October. The head of SoftBank Group Corp, Masayoshi Son, said that the firm will be investing in research and development of AI which operates in a very human-like way.
